This thick and durable floor mat is loom handwoven with jute rope and finer, dyed jute with cotton. The size works well in hallways, larger entryways, under the kitchen sink or laundry area.
Jute is one of the most important crops that grows abundantly in Bangladesh. It is extremely hard wearing and sustainable.
Soft under foot, this mat is approximately about 6mm thick.
The natural and hand woven nature of the mat provides each mat with individual characteristics.
Each mat comes wrapped in an upcycled saree strip.
